Tim Hoekstra is an artist who is famous for his amazing sand paintings. He has been drawing on beach ever since he was still a child. Even now, drawing on beach has become one of his routines.
Ever since long ago, Tim Hoekstra has always been interested with drawings, street arts, and artists. He has been drawing and painting ever since he was still a kid.
He likes the idea of temporary art, because he believes that every thing in life is temporary. He grew up on a beach where he lived during summer. He has always been drawing on beach using the materials that he found there. Six years ago, he used a rake to make the drawings much bigger. However, because the result was too big, he wanted to see it from above. He set a GoPro on a kite to record his works. Now, he has been using a drone to take pictures of his works. He is inspired by many artists, such as tattoo artists and street artists.
Tim Hoekstra likes to work on a large-scale with using the environment as a canvas. Mostly, he needs 4 hours to finish up his works.
